The competition is about the design of a tower in Beijing, China, based on the principles of sustainability, energy efficiency and the integration of a pedestrian walkway crossing over the 4th ring road, creating a strategic point of reference for the entire area. Office spaces should be designed according to the principles of flexibility and transformability, exploring new concepts of workplace in order to ensure high quality conditions for users. In addition to observing the obvious functional needs, the tower should also be designed as a real "vertical road" that can host a vibrant city life.
